June 20, 2022
TEMPE, Ariz – We are pleased to announce that details for the 2022 USA Touch Nationals tournament have been finalized, and registration is officially open! After some challenges throughout the COVID pandemic, we are hoping this will be our biggest event yet!
Some highlights:
We are returning to the East coast! The event will be held September 22-24, 2022 (3 full days inclusive), at the Omni Orlando resort, Orlando, Florida. Training camps for USA National team selection will be held on Sunday morning.
Divisions will be Men's Open, Women's Open, Mixed Open and Over 35's. There will be a cap on the number of teams in each division, so get your team(s) together, register, and pay ASAP to secure your entry!
Early registration is $1,650 per team before July 15, and $1,800 after. Registrations close on August 15 or sooner if all spots are filled. Teams and individuals must also be fully registered 2022 USA Touch members to participate in the event.
As we all know, a great tournament requires great referees. Each team entry must include a full-time (non-playing) referee. We will be offering a couple of video clinics for those who join the referee team over the next 2 months to answer questions and brush up on rules and skills as a group. Refereeing is a great way to be a part of the action supporting your team, and even comes with free lunch and physio!
We have negotiated great hotel rates onsite at the Omni Orlando resort. All attendees who stay at the facility will receive free airport shuttles and 2 drink tickets for the after-party, which will also be located at the facility. No need to hire a car or drive, what a deal! Rooms are not unlimited, so be quick to book this deal.
All the details including entry fees and caps, conditions of entry, hotel information, and tournament rules are included in the attached Information Pack. The link to register is also included below.
